Want to be part of GMR community miniature railway?

GMR is a volunteer community based miniature railway. 

GMR volunteers forfill operational roles: 

Train drivers, guards, station masters, construction, maintenance and junior volunteers. 

Trains could be battery-operated electric, petrol/diesel-outline engines or *live steam, miniature trains.

 *Live steam trains require specialized training.

• Train drivers operate 5" & 7 1/4" gauge trains.
• Guards help with passenger assistance and safety. 
• Station masters manage the station and tickets. 
• Construction consists of ongoing extended railway structure and new infrastructure. 
• Maintenance includes looking after track, trains, carriages and performing essential safety checks. 
• Junior volunteers (10-16 years old) must be accompanied by a parent/guardian whilst volunteering.
